Saskatoon police are looking for two suspects in an attempted robbery along the Meewasin Trail Monday night.
A woman walking near the train bridge at 9:30 p.m. was approached by a man and a woman armed with a knife.
According to police media release, the suspects pulled at the woman’s backpack and hit her in a struggle before they ran south on the trail empty-handed.
The male suspect is described as being in his 20’s with a slim build and short hair.
At the time of the attempted robbery, he wore a black hat and hooded sweater.
The female suspect is also in her 20’s with a slim build and shoulder-length hair.
She’s believed to be taller than five-feet-six-inches tall.
At the time of the incident, she wore a dark blue zip-up sweater.
