Commutes will be changing for many in the city’s northeast starting Wednesday.
The City of Saskatoon announced Tuesday that traffic will begin flowing on Oct. 17 on the new interchange at McOrmond Drive and College Drive.
With the interchange open, traffic at the intersection will be free-flowing. City officials stated all interchange ramps will be in use, however, some work delayed by wet conditions over September will have to be completed in spring 2019.
Southbound traffic on McOrmond Drive exiting onto College Drive will still use the existing ramp. All traffic exiting from College Drive onto McOrmond Drive northbound and southbound will have to use the right lane.
The City of Saskatoon shared a .gif Tuesday on its Facebook page outlining the traffic flow through the new interchange.
