RCMP is asking the public to give crews space to battle a fire at the North West Terminal in Unity.
The Unity fire department was called to the grain facility around 7:15 a.m. Thursday, where RCMP said a grain dryer had caught fire.
The flames had been contained to the dryer, but because of the proximity to the terminal’s main offices the business was evacuated.
Staff were on-site when the fire broke out, and the cause isn’t considered suspicious.
Drivers are being asked not to stop on Highway 14.
