A 22-year-old man was rushed to hospital early Monday following a single vehicle collision that left him trapped under a vehicle.
Police received a “frantic” 911 call just before 3 a.m. from the Superstore parking lot on Confederation Drive.
When officer arrived, they found a man pinned under a vehicle.
Nine officers worked together to lift the vehicle off the man until help arrived. Fire crews then safely removed the trapped man from beneath the vehicle.
Police Chief Troy Cooper praised their efforts on twitter Monday.

Police say the man was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
A 21-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and is charged with impaired driving causing bodily harm and exceed .08.
A collision analyst and a forensic unit are trying to determine how the incident occurred.
