Saskatoon police have opened a homicide investigation — it’s second in a 12-hour span — after a man died in an apartment building on Avenue V South.At around 10:40 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to a call of an injured man in an apartment in the 200 block of Avenue V South.Police found the 23-year-old upon arrival and sent him to hospital where he died of his injuries, police said in a news release.No other information into the incident is available at this time.Police said this investigation is not related to a homicide reported on Friday night.Anyone with information on the incident is urged to call Saskatoon police at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
