Overturned semi blocks Millar Avenue during rush hour

An overturned semi caused headaches for a lot of evening commuters in Saskatoon on Tuesday.

At around 4 p.m., the truck and trailer overturned on Millar Avenue near Circle Drive, blocking the northbound lanes just as rush hour began.

Traffic was barred from the northbound lanes and rerouted onto Warman Road, while the southbound lanes were also travelling slow as of 5 p.m.

Police asked drivers to avoid the area if possible.
