A 30-year-old woman is facing charges after Saskatoon police got calls about an alleged impaired driver leaving a downtown nightclub.
Police said witnesses phoned around 2 a.m. saying they spotted the woman leaving Pink Nightclub on 24th Street East.
She allegedly got into a green minivan and hit at least one parked vehicle while trying to drive away.
Witnesses told police they also saw a passenger fall out of the van’s front seat.
Officers pulled the van over on 22nd Street, reportedly finding the vehicle being driven with a missing sliding door.
The woman behind the wheel was charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood-alcohol level over .08.
A 19-year-old woman in the passenger seat was taken to hospital with what were described as minor injuries.
