Police investigating suspicious death after Caswell fire

Saskatoon police are investigating a suspicious death after a house fire in the Caswell Hill neighbourhood Friday morning.

Firefighters were called to 229 Avenue F North at 2:30 a.m. and arrived to find smoke coming from the rear of the home.

Extra resources called to the scene helped bring the fire under control within 12 minutes.

Inside the home, firefighters located an adult body.

Police said the body hasn’t been positively identified, but the major crime unit is investigating.
