Two men are in police custody after a car chase ended in a field north of Saskatoon Thursday.
A 22-year-old Saskatoon man and a 21-year-old Moose Jaw man are facing multiple charges including, evade police, dangerous driving, possession of stolen property and possession of methanphetamine when drugs were seized following the chase.
The incident began just after midnight on Thursday when a Saskatoon police officer spotted a vehicle driving erratically near Broadway Bridge.
The stolen grey Saturn Vue began running red lights and escaped police when they attempted to stop the speeding car.
An air support unit was called to support officers and saw the vehicle stuck just west of Saskatoon city limits on Whelan Road. When police arrived, the two men were hiding in bushes nearby.
