A 69-year-old man is facing charges for allegedly trying to pay a 10-year-old boy for sex.
Saskatoon police said the boy was walking along Avenue P South on May 30 when the man approached him and offered him money to come back to his apartment.
Once at the apartment, the man reportedly tried to have sex with the boy, who police said ran away and managed to escape unharmed.
On Monday, police said they’d arrested the 69-year-old man and charged him with invitation to sexual touching and attempting to obtain sexual services from a person under the age of 18.
