It’s no secret.
The question marks for the Saskatchewan Roughriders are along the offensive line in 2018.
First year left tackle Terran Vaughn replaces the talented Bruce Campbell. At right guard, Jarvis Harrison takes the place of 11-year veteran Peter Dyakowski. Dariusz Bladek is in the mix as well.
Vaughn will line up against Argos defensive end Shawn Lemon tonight. Lemon had eight sacks last season.
Toronto defensive coordinator Mike Archer also has the luxury of deploying linebacker Cassius Vaughn in to the mix. Vaughn had five interceptions last season, and also had a big one in last year’s eastern final at the expense of the Riders.
Offensive lineman will tell you it’s easier to play the run as opposed to protecting for the pass in the CFL. Veteran offensive linemen Brendon Labatte and Dan Clark will have to dominate up front and Jerome Messam will have to be one of the stars of the game in order for the Riders to come away with a week one win.
