A man is facing several charges after police got a call about suspicious people checking out cars.
According to Saskatoon police, members of the bike unit were sent to the area of 4th Avenue North and 26th Street East around 9 p.m. Monday.
The officers found two men, matching the suspect descriptions, jay-walking nearby.
Police stopped the men, ages 22 and 27, and found out the older suspect was trying to impersonate someone else.
He was subsequently arrested for impersonation, and police said he was also in possession of a stolen wallet, a homemade knife and crystal meth.
The suspect also had two outstanding warrants and was issued a traffic ticket.
The Saskatoon Police Service would like to thank the public for being vigilant and encourage anyone who witnesses suspicious activity to call police at 306-975-8300 or 911 in the event of an emergency.
