RCMP say a 60-year-old man has died after a semi-trailer and minivan crashed southeast of Saskatoon.
According to police, the collision happened just after 11 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 16 near Esk.
The 60-year-old minivan driver – and only person in the vehicle – was pronounced dead at the scene.
The semi driver was not injured.
Humboldt and Lanigan RCMP were assisted at the scene by the Lanigan Fire Department.
The investigation is ongoing with assistance from a RCMP traffic reconstructionist and the coroner’s office.
Esk is located 140 kilometres southeast of Saskatoon.
