Saskatoon Hospital Home Lottery boasts biggest prize yet

A new home in Saskatoon’s Greenbryre Estates is up for grabs with a modern design more akin to a California beach pad than a little house on the prairie.

The $1.7-million show home, built by Haven Builders, is the Saskatoon Hospital Home Lottery’s biggest grand prize to date.

Located at 312 Greenbryre Crescent North, the 5,500 square feet living space backs onto the Greenbryre Estates and boasts plenty

• Unique walnut features throughout the home
• Multi-functional gym in lower level
• Luxurious cambria quartz kitchen countertops and 18′ island
• Covered outdoor entertainment areas in front and rear of the home
• Secret entrance to the impressive bar, theatre, and games room
• Concrete feature walls with natural gas fireplace – both in the living room and on the patio

The home will be awarded fully furnished, professionally decorated and landscaped. The winner also takes home $25,000 in cash.

Daily public viewings start noon Saturday, with weekend and holiday hours of noon to 5 p.m., and weekday availability between 6-9 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased a number of ways, including online, by phone or in-person.

All proceeds from the home lottery go to Saskatoon’s three hospital foundations: Royal University, St. Paul’s and Saskatoon City.

At RUH, proceeds will support the current $20-million GREATE.R. Campaign and will equip the new Royal University Hospital Adult Emergency Department, opening in late 2019, with state-of-the-art equipment, including a dedicated CT scanner.

St. Paul’s Hospital will benefit with proceeds for a state-of-the-art automated pneumatic tube transport system that moves laboratory specimens, medications and blood products quickly and securely throughout the facility.

The system improves efficiencies and advances patient flow, while freeing up staff time to focus on patient care.

The Saskatoon City Hospital Foundation’s Equip for Excellence campaign will also get a boost.

With the best and latest equipment, technology and resources, patients receive faster diagnoses. It also means less invasive surgeries, targeted anesthetics, more effective treatments and speedier recoveries.

Bonus, Early Bird prizes

This year’s bonus prize also takes things to the next level with a 7 Wonders of the World tour or $30,000 cash.

The bonus prize deadline is midnight Feb. 16.

A 2018 Maserati Levante Q4 AWD or $100,000 in cash is up for grabs in the early bird draw. The deadline for that is midnight March 16.

There are also add-ons – including a 50/50 prize, a cash calendar and more – for people to buy.
