Two people found guilty of plotting to kill their spouses had their appeal heard in Regina Friday.
Curtis Vey and Angela Nicholson were sentenced to three years in prison last September.
Both were arrested and charged July 6, 2013, after Vey’s wife made a secret recording of the two discussing how to best set a house on fire and when to meet once the deed was done.
Throughout the trial, the pair always insisted it was just a discussion and neither planned to actually carry out the plot.
The appeal decision is reserved and won’t be expected until later in the new year.
