A stabbing early Sunday morning in the Westview area left a 47-year-old man in hospital.
Just after midnight police were called to 33rd Street West near Avenue W North where they found the man, who had been stabbed several times.
The two suspects left before officers arrived, but police are working with descriptions.
One suspect is described as a man, around six-feet-two-inches-tall and wearing black clothing.
According to police, the second suspect is a five-foot-tall woman with a thin build who was wearing a burgundy coat at the time of the stabbing.
In an update issued Monday, police said the 47-year-old who was stabbed was in critical but stable condition. Police went on to say the victim and his alleged attackers did not know each other.
