It’s sign up time again for city leisure programs in Saskatoon.
Registration for winter activities such as swimming, skating, art and cooking classes begins Sunday at 6 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m.
To make the process run smoother, a new online leisure registration system is in place, which the city said is more user friendly and includes an option to search and browse hundreds of activity options.
Customers who have an existing online account will need to create a new one prior to the opening of registration.
The city said there’s normally a backlog of calls when registration opens due to people wanting to secure their favourite activity and time.
The city noted there will be additional resources in place to handle the extra traffic.
Walk-in registrations begin Monday at 6:30 a.m. at Harry Bailey Aquatic Centre, Lakewood Civic Centre, Saskatoon Field House, and Shaw Centre; and at 8 a.m. at Cosmo Civic Centre and Lawson Civic Centre.
The list of city programs can also be found in the winter leisure guide, which arrived in mail boxes Wednesday.
