A prisoner had a rough ride on his way to the Saskatoon police detention centre Monday night.
A patrol car was transporting the prisoner to the police station when it was hit by a vehicle that ran a red light at 25th Street and 1st Avenue around 9:30 p.m.
Police said after reviewing the patrol car’s on board video, the driver was charged with disobeying a red light.
There were no injuries in the collision.
