Saskatoon police are investigating the death of a 30-year-old man as a possible murder.
On Nov. 4, officers were called around 6 a.m. to a home for a man being shot in the 200 block of Avenue V South.
Police found a 30-year-old man with a small calibre gunshot wound to his abdomen.
He was taken to hospital in stable condition, but died from his injuries on Nov. 11.
Following an autopsy Tuesday, investigators from Saskatoon’s major crime unit are looking into the death as a possible murder.
In a previous news release, police stated they believe the victim knew the suspect, but the shooter was never identified.
This marks the city’s fifth homicide in 2017.
