Kids and kids-at-heart aren’t the only ones getting dressed up for Halloween. Many people’s pets will also be joining in.
Saskatoon’s Ryan Grainger was on the hunt Sunday for pet-friendly paint at the Trade Show and Pet Expo at Market Mall, as part of a costume planned for one of his family’s pups, a black collie-mix named Sage.
“The black one we are going to do a skunk and paint a white stripe down her back,” Grainger said.
He said the family’s other pooch, a Shepard mix named Sophie, would also be getting in on the fun.
“We are getting a badge for her, right, she`s going to be a police dog.”
Grainger was out with his two son’s, 5-year-old Trey who was dressed up as Captain America and 4-year-old Ryder was The Hulk.
Both boys said they like dressing up their dogs.
“It’s fun. Just like kids, it’s fun,” Grainger said.
