Last swing of the season: Saskatoon golf courses to close

Time is running out to work on your golf swing in Saskatoon.

Over the next week, three city courses – Holiday Park, Silverwood and Wildwood – will be closing for the season.

But golfers should get a few nice days to hit the links to close out the season.

Environment Canada is calling for a high of 20 C Tuesday, while the rest of the week is expected to vary between 10 C and 16 C.

The schedule for the City of Saskatoon’s courses are as follows:

Wildwood Golf Course

Will close Monday, Oct. 23

Holiday Park Golf Course

Executive nine will close Monday, Oct. 16
Regular course back nine will close Tuesday, Oct.17
Regular course front nine will close Monday, Oct. 23

Silverwood Golf Course

River nine (Holes 10 to 18) will close Monday, Oct. 16
Lake nine (Holes 1 to 9) will close Monday, Oct. 23

The city said the dates above are tentative, and could change depending on weather conditions.

Golfers are advised to call the golf courses to check playing conditions.
