The locker room was full of optimism for the future of the organization on Sunday.
Pumpkin pies were everywhere in Saskatoon’s new Costco store parking lot Friday as people got ready for the Thanksgiving long weekend.
Andrew Pfefferle had three pies and two cans of whipped cream to go with them.
“They’re cheap and they’re very well done, they’re good,” Pfefferle said.
He explained his kids have plans with other family members for the holiday weekend.
Pfefferle said he and his wife plan to eat the pie for every meal.
On Monday, when their kids come home, he plans to return to Costco for more.
“Because the kids all come home for supper, so we will have three more,” Pfefferle said.
Adding he buys the pre-made whipped cream so he doesn’t have to make it.
