A Saskatoon man has been charged with a number of offences related to sexually abusing children.
The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) announced Monday that Ethan James Fergusson, 27, was facing charges of sexual assault, making child pornography, luring a child and procuring sex from someone under 18.
Fergusson is also charged with possessing child pornography and breaching a court order.
Police said Fergusson was arrested and charged Sept. 29 while already in custody at the Saskatoon Correctional Centre. This came after an investigation into a May 2017 complaint from a young person who told police Fergusson had contacted them.
Investigators asked any other youth who may have been in contact with Fergusson to come forward, either by contacting the ICE Unit, or their local police or RCMP detachment.
