Saskatoon police are asking for help to find the person or people behind a rash of tire slashings early Thursday morning.
Police said officers received a call around 3:45 a.m. for a report of a truck on fire in the 200 block of Pringle Lane.
When officers arrived, the Saskatoon Fire Department had extinguished the blaze that was deliberately set under the truck.
There was no damage from the fire, however, all of the tires on the truck had been slashed.
Police said as officers investigated, they found a total of eight vehicles parked on that block also had their tires slashed.
Anyone with information on this crime is asked to call the Saskatoon Police Service at 306-975-8300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-877-222-8477.
