People in Saskatoon-Fairview can begin casting ballots as a provincial byelection campaign for the riding comes into its final week.
Voters can head to advance polling stations at Confederation Mall starting Thursday.
The polls will open at 3 p.m. and close at 10 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Tuesday, while votes can be cast between noon and 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Eligible residents are being reminded to bring identification and their voter information card when casting their ballots.
The vote will decide who will replace Jennifer Campeau. The Sask Party MLA vacated her seat in June for family reasons, moving to B.C.
Sask. Party candidate Cameron Scott will try and keep the seat for the government. He’s in against the NDP’s Vicki Mowat, the Liberals’ Shah Rukh, Progressive Conservative David Prokopchuk and Green Party hopeful Taylor Bolin.
Mowat competed against Campeau in the 2016 general election, losing by just 188 votes.
Regular voting will occur on Sept. 7.
