Ethel "Nana" Mongovius' family has been cheering for the Saskatchewan Roughriders for decades.
The Remai Modern Art Gallery is offering free admission for its opening weekend.
People will be able to tour the new gallery free-of-charge on Saturday, Oct. 21, and Sunday, Oct. 22, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The free days are presented by KPMG and Rawlco Radio.
The KPMG and Rawlco Radio free admission weekend is in addition to the major gift of $1 million from Gordon and Jill Rawlinson and Rawlco Radio donated in April 2017.
The major gift provides for the Free Admission Program, which will ensure free access to the entire museum, six days each year for five years. Rawlco Radio will be an active partner with the museum, promoting Remai Modern events—including free admission days—in the community.
Regular admission rates at the gallery will be $12 for adults and $10 for seniors and students.
Children under 5 will get in free and a $30 family pass will cover two adults and up to five kids.
