Classic rock legends like Randy Bachman, Tom Cochrane and The Stampeders sold out this year’s edition of Rock 102’s Rock the River.
The longtime music festival had 3,500 people for each show at the Bessborough Gardens.
“We sold out before it even started,” said Cheri Hamilton with Rock the River. “It’s starting to get really popular because it’s very nostalgic for most of our crowd.”
Tom Cochrane played hits like Big League, and Life is a Highway, which had the crowd dancing up a storm Saturday night.

Randy Bachman, from the Guess Who and BTO, played Friday night to a sold-out crowd.
“He was so good for being in his 70,” Hamilton said.
The Stampeders close out Rock the River, headlining Sunday night.
They’re set to hit the stage at 8:30 p.m.
