If you’re heading south towards Bethune over the next few days, it might be a good idea to leave a little early.
Saskatchewan’s Highway Hotline took to Twitter Wednesday to caution people to expect delays on highways 7, 45 and 15.
SaskPower is helping move a crystallizer – a large piece of equipment used to separate liquid and solid material – to the K+S Potash mine, northwest of Regina.
The crystallizer measures around 33 feet wide and 38 feet high. The length is larger than the width of a CFL football field.
Three tractors and two trailers are helping move the equipment.
K+S Potash Canada said it is due to be lifted at their site Friday.
Bethune is located around 60 kilometres northwest of Regina.
