Saskatoon police are looking for a suspect after a stabbing near downtown Thursday morning.
Police said a 38-year-old man was walking down Jamieson Street at 8:20 a.m. on June 29 when he was approached by the suspect, who demanded cash at knife-point.
When the victim said he didn’t have any money, he was stabbed in the leg and his wallet was stolen.
Police said the man made his way to Royal University Hospital for treatment for a non-life-threatening injury.
The suspect is described by police as a white man, about 40 years old, with tanned skin, shoulder-length brown hair, green eyes and large sideburns.
The suspect was seen wearing a green windbreaker with an “Exhaust” logo on the front.
