Traffic restrictions in place for Pride Parade

With thousands of people expected to line the streets of downtown Saskatoon Saturday for the Pride Parade parking and traffic restrictions will be in effect.

From 12 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. the parade route will be closed off.

It includes:

-The off ramp from Idylwyld Drive northbound to 1st Avenue.

-4th Avenue from 21st Street East to 22nd Street East.

-21st Street East from 3rd Avenue S to 4th Avenue South.

-3rd Avenue South from 20th Street East to 21st Street East.

-20th Street East from 1st Avenue South to 3rd Avenue South.

-1st Avenue South from 22nd Street East to 20th Street East.

-22nd Street East from 4th Avenue North to 1st Avenue North

-4th Avenue North from 24th Street East to 22nd Street East

-24th Street East from Spadina Crescent East to 4th Avenue North.

Mayor Charlie Clark will serve as grand marshal, marking the first time a Saskatoon mayor has taken part in the event
