Saskatoon police say they have charged three people caught in a stolen truck on Tuesday.
Police stopped the truck on 33rd Street West around 6:45 a.m. after officers spotted the vehicle being driven erratically.
From there, officers discovered the truck had been reported stolen June 18.
Police said the truck was taken after thieves found the keys in another vehicle parked nearby on the owner’s property.
Officers found a shotgun and ammunition in the vehicle, according to a police media release.
Five people found in the truck were arrested at the scene, two were eventually released without charges.
Two men, 29 and 32, were charged with possession of a stolen vehicle and various weapons offences.
An 18-year-old woman was charged with possession of stolen property over $5,000.
