A teenager from Saskatoon was killed in a crash northeast of Calgary, Alta. on Friday.

Police say heavy hail was falling in the area when the crash happened.
A 16-year-old girl was pronounced dead at the scene while a 67-year-old woman from the same vehicle was airlifted to hospital in Calgary. The STARS helicopter could not land at the scene due to the weather and an alternative landing zone had to be set up.
