If you’re looking for things to do in Saskatoon Victoria Day, keep in mind it’s not business as usual for some city-run services.
City Hall and all public libraries are closed for the holiday Monday.
Garbage and recycling pick-up is going as normal.
The Saskatoon landfill will be open with regular summer hours of 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Compost depots will be open regular hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (west depot) and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (east depot). You are asked to get there at least 10 minutes before closing time.
Saskatoon Transit and Access Transit are using Sunday/Holiday hours.
If you’re heading out downtown city run parking spots are free today.
Things to do
The Forestry Farm Park and Zoo is running on normal hours. You can visit the park from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. while the zoo is open 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Holiday Park, Silverwood and Wildwood golf courses have normal hours.
PotashCorp Playland at Kinsmen Park is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Hours at leisure centres across the city are affected with most fitness classes cancelled.
