Is Saskatoon getting a new Taco Bell?
The popular Mexican food chain hinted at the possibility in a somewhat cryptic social media post Wednesday afternoon.
Taco Bell Canada posted a snapshot of a human resources document outlining efforts to hire staff in a city whose name is repeatedly blanked out, but still visible enough to make out: Saskatoon.
“Taco Bell can neither confirm or deny the authenticity of this document. But if it were true, it would hypothetically be a pretty big deal. Hypothetically,” the post read.
The proposed location was also blacked out in this not-so-secretive manner, stating the new Taco Bell would be at the intersection of 8th Street and Arlington Avenue.

Social media commenters took note of the coincidental timing of the announcement — and the new location.
Taco Bell Canada made its post the day after a well-known Saskatoon restaurant burned down at the same intersection the chain will open, albeit across the street.
The HR document said the company is looking to hire shift leads and team members, adding candidates should be looking to “have fun serving great food in an energetic environment.”
It also mentioned applications should be submitted via careers at tacobell.ca by March 13.
