Ethel "Nana" Mongovius' family has been cheering for the Saskatchewan Roughriders for decades.
The death of a 57-year-old man in Nipawin is being considered suspicious.
RCMP said a call came in around 11 p.m. Wednesday about a man being found dead at his home in the 500 block of 1st Avenue West in Nipawin.
An autopsy will be conducted Jan. 9 in Saskatoon.
The man’s name is not being released at this time.
Investigators are looking for anyone with information about suspicious people, vehicles or activity in the area around the home on Jan. 4.
Nipawin is located around 140 kilometres east of Prince Albert.
Correction: RCMP initially told media the man was 60 years old. A previous version of this story reflected that misinformation.
