A body found in a burned out house this fall has led to murder charged against three people.
On October 5th, crews put out a fire in the house at 1555 McTavish Street, just east of the Pasqua Hospital. It wasn’t until almost a week later that investigators found the body of Ryan Daniel Sugar, 31, inside.
Police haven’t said whether Sugar died in the fire, or was dead before the fire started.
At the end of last month, police determined Sugar’s death was a homicide and said they had made significant progress in the investigation.
On Sunday afternoon, police announced three people had been charged. Colinda Lee Hotomani, 35, from Fort Qu’Appelle, Jessica Dawn Pangman, 27, from Regina, and Greg James Wolfe, 24, who has no fixed address, are all charged with first-degree murder in Sugar’s death.
