Yorkton Municipal RCMP are investigating after a gunshot was heard – and a gunshot hole found in a vehicle’s windshield – Monday night.
Police said people at the north end of First Avenue near York Road heard the gun shot around 10:30 p.m.
RCMP confirmed the damage to the vehicle parked on First Avenue North was caused by a gun.
Police said a small red SUV was seen in the area at the time the gunshot was heard.
On the evening of December 5, 2016, at approximately 10:30 pm, Yorkton RCMP responded to a call of shots fired.
Residents at the north end of First Avenue near York Road, heard a loud bang. A hole was located in the windshield of a vehicle parked on First Avenue North, Yorkton.
Yorkton RCMP have confirmed that the damage to the vehicle was caused by a firearm.
