Previously, WHL players were declared ineligible to play NCAA hockey in the U.S.
It has been 20 months and Saskatchewan RCMP continue to search for a wanted man.
Punnichy RCMP say officers are still trying to find Curtis Douglas Fayant, 45, who has outstanding warrants and has been charged with assault, uttering threats, and breach of probation.
RCMP have been looking for him since April 2015.
Fayant is aboriginal, about 5’8″, 155 pounds, medium complexion, with short black hair and brown eyes. He normally wears glasses and has a trimmed moustache.
Fayant has several tattoos on his right arm including one of a grim reaper and a dragon. He also has a grim reaper tattoo on his left arm.
RCMP believe Fayant is staying in Regina. It is possible he is working at a construction site and may be using a different name.
