A man robbed at gunpoint Monday morning was allegedly going to visit someone he met online.
Saskatoon police are investigating the incident, which took place just after 9 a.m.
Twenty minutes later, a 20-year-old man went to the Saskatoon Police Service to report he had been the victim of the robbery.
According to police, he reported visiting a suite in the 200 block of 28th Street West to see someone he had met online.
He was then confronted by two men wearing balaclavas and armed with a long barrelled gun.
The suspects allegedly stole his keys and cellphone before fleeing. The victim’s vehicle – described as a grey 1991 Ford Mustang – is also believed to have been stolen.
The victim was not physically injured during the incident.
