One man was arrested in Regina after allegedly robbing a business on the 400 block of Albert Street North.
Officers were called to the business around 2:28 a.m. Sunday, for a the report of an armed robbery.
Police said the man entered with a gun, demanding cash and merchandise from an employee. He did not physically harm the worker.
The employee was able to give police a description of the man, as well as his direction of travel.
Officers found the man, who matched the description, in the area, but he ignored their commands to stop.
Police said the suspect then pulled out what appeared to be a handgun, but was later determined to be a very realistic-looking CO2 pistol.
Shawn Royal Parisian, 24, of no fixed address, was charged with armed robbery, using a firearm in the commission of an indictable offence, carrying a concealed weapon and theft of a vehicle in an unrelated incident police said happened earlier.
Parisian made his first court appearance on these charges in Regina Monday morning.
