Five teenage boys were arrested after RCMP received a call about mischief and theft of a vehicle from a business in Kamsack.
Police said four vehicles were extensively damaged on the business’s property, including smashed windows and steering columns. Another six vehicles sustained minor damage. A tractor cab and a side by side or utility vehicle were also damaged.
RCMP also found a burnt vehicle on a grid road north of Kamsack. The vehicle belonged to the same business. Police said damages are estimated at around $100,000.
RCMP have arrested and charged five teen boys, who cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
All teens were charged with possession of property over $5,000 obtained by crime, while some of the teens face arson, theft of truck and mischief over $5,000 charges.
The teens have been released. They’ll appear in Kamsack Provincial Court on Jan. 17, 2017.
