Estevan police confirmed a train derailed in Estevan this morning at the tracks at the crossing at Kensington Avenue.
Canadian Pacific Railway said two trains collided at a low speed around 5 a.m.
That caused one car to go off the tracks, but it remained upright.
No injuries were reported and the railway said there were no public safety concerns. .
Police said the tracks will be closed for a couple hours for cleanup.
It will also affect traffic around Kensington Avenue, as the crossing is still blocked.
No word yet on what the trains were carrying.
