Three people were arrested after allegedly stealing a car and driving dangerously early Sunday morning.
At around 2:10 a.m., Regina police noticed the vehicle, which was reported stolen, driving quickly and running red lights.
It was found as it was drove on gravel roads northeast and northwest out of Regina. Police said it finally stopped headed east on Township Road 184, east of Pasqua Street.
Two men and one woman in the vehicle were arrested. Police also found a gun and ammunition.
Michael Ethan Obey, 18, of Regina was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, unauthorized possession of a gun in a motor vehicle, unauthorized possession of a gun, possession of a weapon, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle and failing to comply.
Robert Darryl Veidenheimer, 21, and Megan Beatris Runns-Prettyshield, 21, both of Regina, were charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, unauthorized possession of a gun in a motor vehicle, unauthorized possession of a firearm and possession of a weapon.
The three appeared in court on Monday morning.
