Police have arrested two more people in a series of robberies near Punnichy earlier this month.
Earlier this month, three homes about 130 km north of Regina were broken into and robbed. Two people were arrested in those thefts on Wednesday, and police asked the public to be on the look out for another two who were suspected to be involved with the robberies.
On Friday night, River William Taniskishayinew, 22, of the George Gordon First Nation and Cherish Emily Leigh Longman, 18, of the Muskowekwan First Nation were arrested in Saskatoon.
Taniskishayinew is charged with breaking into a home, theft exceeding $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime, and two counts of driving while disqualified.
Longman is charged with breaking into a home, theft exceeding $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime, and three counts of failing to comply with conditions of a youth sentence.
Taniskishayinew and Longman will be in court in Saskatoon on Monday afternoon.
