Punnichy RCMP are investigating three reported thefts in three days in the central part of the province.
Police received the first report of a break-in around 9 p.m. on Nov. 6. RCMP were called to a home on the George Gordon First Nation.
Two flat screen televisions, six spare tires and a large quantity of beads were reported stolen. The residents of the home had been away prior to the call, so it is unknown when the break-in occurred.
RCMP were called to a rural home southwest of Raymore in the R.M. of Mount Hope around 9 p.m. on Nov. 7. Several items from the home were stolen, including a silver-grey 2014 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk with the Saskatchewan license plate 800KAZ.
Then at 2:19 p.m. on Nov. 8, officers were called to another rural home in the R.M. of Mount Hope, where another home was broken into. A large blue Yamaha bag – containing helmets, snow pants and other items used for snowmobiling – was reported stolen.
Punnichy RCMP believe these crimes could be connected and that the suspects might be going door-to-door, selling the items at cheap prices.
