Regina police have made an arrest in a robbery reported on Sept. 1, 2016.
Officers were called to a business on the 1600-block of Dewdney Avenue East for a report of robbery.
Police said a man entered the Glencairn business with a gun and ordered people onto the floor before leaving with an undisclosed amount of money from one of the employees. No one was injured.
Police arrested 25-year-old Royce Wayne Jasper on Nov. 7 on an unrelated case – the possession of a stolen vehicle dating back to June 17, 2016.
Police said the investigation linked him to the Sept. 1 robbery.
Jasper was also charged with theft of a vehicle on Nov. 3. He faces a charge of armed robbery, wearing a mask or disguise in the commission of an indictable offence, possession of a stolen vehicle and theft of a motor vehicle.
He appeared in court in Regina on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
