A $1.1 million show home in The Creeks has a new owner.
The Hospitals of Regina Foundation Home Lottery winners were revealed Friday.
Bhupinder Dreger, from Regina, was the grand prize winner of the show home.
“It is amazing,” Dreger said. “I didn’t sleep much last night.”
Dreger wasn’t the only one who was receiving a new residence.
Lisa Phan was the winner of the early bird cottage at Katepwa Lake and accepted the prize with her boyfriend and son.
“I’m still in disbelief,” Phan said. “We are just most grateful for this for our children and that’s all we’ve ever wanted, was just to start a home for them.”
The lottery raised $1.3 million dollars this year, which is a bit more than other years according to Dino Sophocleous, CEO of the Foundation.
Other winners included Barry and Lillian Borys who won a prize of $339,552.50 and Ron Montgomery who won $50,000.
A complete list of winners will be published on the Hospitals of Regina Foundation’s website on Nov. 10.
