It’s not quite shorts and flip-flops weather, but the coming week in Regina is expected to be unseasonably warm.
The next three days are expected to be sunny and up to 13 degrees in the Queen City.
980 CJME’s weather specialist John Wilson said it’s a little early in the season, but we’re getting a bonafide chinook.
“A big flood of pacific air making it across the mountains, and of course when it does that it dries out and that means when it comes across the prairies it’s mild.”
Wilson said next week is going to be fairly warm as well, then it will get more into seasonal temperatures.
He said clouds and cold weather will come with snow, but not until the second or third week of the month.
“Whether that sticks or not too is still an open question, because these shots of mild air that keep coming over the mountains for the next little while.”
