A 27 year-old Regina man is facing charges after two attempted robberies Saturday.
According to police, Adrian Preston Brass went up to a vehicle in the parking lot and pointed a gun at the window of a 24-year-old woman’s vehicle in the 2200 block of Broad Street around 8:35 p.m. on Saturday.
He allegedly opened the driver’s door and pulled her to the ground and demanded the keys to the vehicle. As a passenger in the vehicle phoned police, he ran away.
Moments later, he allegedly pointed a gun at another vehicle in the lane of the 2100 block of Osler Street. The 30-year-old man drove away.
Police then found Preston in an alley in the 1500 block of Victoria Avenue. They found a M4 replica firearm. He was then charged with two attempted robberies, two assaults with a weapon, two disguises with intent and two counts of using an imitation firearm while committing an indictable offence.
