A taser was used by Regina police in the arrest of a 35-year-old Regina man.
Police said around 2:38 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Wallace Street for a report of a domestic threatening.
The suspect left the residence and allegedly damaged property while uttering threats to use a weapon.
Police said they saw a man matching the description of the suspect on the 900 block of 8th Avenue and he entered a business. Officers located the man inside the building and attempted to negotiate with the man but the suspect began to challenge officers.
The 35-year-old man allegedly said words and used actions that indicated he intended to harm someone.
A taser was used and he was safely taken into custody.
Police say the man was medically cleared for physical injury by EMS at the scene and was unharmed.
Thirty-five-year-old Chris Moran is facing six charges including uttering threats.
Moran appeared in Provincial Court Friday morning.
